This is Denny. She is a dark brindle girl, three years old.

Denny is very small for a greyhound and weighs just 22kg. She is rather shy of new people until she gets to know them, so she would need someone with patience who is gentle and knows how to bring on nervous dogs. She is fine with other dogs, and a companion in the house would help her to adjust.

Mouse is a really pretty black girl, four years old.

She is a nice lady, but poor Mouse has been waiting now for nearly a year. Mouse is quite nervous in new situations, but she will soon settle, given a little patience and understanding.

December 2016: I’m happy to report that Mouse has a lovely new home and is no longer available.

Rupert is a handsome black dog, three years old, and just now has a lot of chestnut in his coat.

He will need a quiet, patient home.  He is a lovely dog, but will take a while to get comfortable with you and needs a lot of reassurance.  Rupert is a big scaredy-cat!

UPDATE October 2012:  Rupert has now been rehomed and is no longer available.

Lassie is a very quiet and nervous black and white girl – seven years old.

She’s no trouble at all, but would prefer a quiet home as she is not confident and probably won’t do well with a lot of noisy children or too much constant activity.  An experienced owner might be best, but really all she needs is patience and understanding, and a comfortable home where she can live the good life in retirement!

UPDATE NOVEMBER 2011: Lassie has now been adopted and is no longer available.
