Mia

Published on October 26, 2012, in Rehomed dogs.

Mia is a two year old black girl, and a true couch potato!

She doesn’t do ‘energetic’ at all – she is very lazy, but very affectionate.  If you are looking for a dog to take for long walks, don’t pick Maya!  She really only likes short walks and prefers her spot on the sofa.

Mia is house-trained.

UPDATE Jan 2013: Mia has now been adopted and is no longer available.

Boris is a really handsome white and black dog, only three years old.

He retired with a broken leg, now mended, but he really needs someone who doesn’t want to go for long walks. In time he’ll be able to do more as his strength is built up, but for now he can’t go too far. However, Boris loves lazing around on a comfortable bed and is extremely affectionate.

UPDATE: September 2011. Boris has now been rehomed and is no longer available

We have received a beautiful photo of Boris enjoying the comforts of the sofa in his adopted home – many thanks to Boris’ new family! Here’s what they say about him: “I have included a photo of Boris. As you can see, he’s found a comfy spot on the sofa; once he is settled there is no moving him. He has a very healthy appetite and was almost immediately housetrained, though we did get up in the night with him for the first couple of weeks.”

Canni is a contented, amenable sort of boy who loves his food, and spends a lot of time upside down (‘roaching’) in his bed.

He is three years old, and is also good with other dogs.

UPDATE – March 2011: Canni has now been adopted and is no longer available.

Lester (the mostly white dog looking directly at the camera, above) was rehomed in October 2010 – here’s what his new family has to say about him:

“Well after nearly two weeks they are both getting along together really well, there’s been no grumpiness from either of them.

I think FInley has taught Lester a few bad habits and I also think Lester has taught him how to ‘Roach’ as Finley was upside-down in his bed last night and he never does that.

I really couldn’t have wished for them to get along any better.

Lester is also starting to relax a bit more now, for the first few days he was obviously very confused and probably a bit scared, but now he seems to be getting cheekier every day which I think is great, although J could pull her hair out at times!”

The photo below was Lester’s profile picture.
