Gypsy is only two years old – still quite a pup! She is a beautiful, slender black girl with white markings who would make a great family pet and enjoy a life on the sofa. She is very loving.

UPDATE OCTOBER 2010: Gypsy has now been adopted and is no longer available.

Sophie will be six years old in September 2010. She is a beautiful black girl with white markings and has a happy, playful nature. We think she would make a great companion for children.

This photo was taken at the track just after one of her races. All greyhounds have this slightly dazed, panting look after they’ve sprinted at top speed around the track. She also has sand in her coat, which is normal. Come and see her in person to find out what a lovely girl she is, and what a great pet she’ll make!

UPDATE – 5th December 2010: Sophie has now been rehomed and is no longer available.

Josie is a sweet, tiny black girl, four years old. She has been returned to the kennel through no fault of her own and is already house-trained and used to the routine of living as a pet.

Her coat is a little poor at the moment, but with time, should improve. We expect her to shed the brown fluff and become sleek and velvety black – most black dogs do!

Josie is very quiet and happy, yet can be lively, too!

UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2010: Josie has now been rehomed and is no longer available.

Bree is a very active and happy young fawn-coloured girl – quite a dainty little thing, and only two and a half years old. Though she retired with a wrist injury, this has now healed and should cause her no further trouble.

She is extremely lively, but very food oriented, which should make her easy to train with a clicker and small treats. While greyhounds aren’t usually chosen for this type of activity, Bree might be a good choice for someone looking for a dog to train for agility.

UPDATE OCTOBER 2010: Bree has now been adopted and is no longer available.

Kara is a five year old black female, who loves her food with a passion! She is a very easy-going girl, who should settle pretty much anywhere, as nothing seems to put her out, and she takes everything in her stride.

Kara and Merc are siblings.

UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2010: Kara has now been rehomed and is no longer available.
