Come and see us at the Great Greyhound Gathering on Saturday 17th September. This year, the event is being held at Stoneleigh Park, near Coventry, and all the stands will be indoors, with the events running outside.

We will be selling our usual selection of merchandise (Trolley coin tokens, pens, biodegradable dog waste bags, etc) plus some small pieces of HoundMade Designs items (Collar charms, painted wooden greyhound brooches, photo cards) with all profits to Brambleberry. There is a secondhand box, with no prices – just make a donation – and we will also have our 2017 Brambleberry RGT calendars.

For the young, and the young-at-heart, we will have lucky dips: one for children aged 3yrs and up, and – for the first time – one for the grown-ups, too! If that doesn’t take your fancy, you can try your luck at guessing how many treats are in the jar – not only could you win the jar, but £20 worth of Tesco gift cards, too!

Brambleberry Greyhounds RGT was once again invited to attend DWR Open Day which was held on Sunday 3rd July. The event drew a record attendance with over 1,000 people passing through the gates. It’s a really nice event, with a fun dog show, and some great exhibitions, with displays of falconry and canine members of the armed forces showing their skills among other attractions. Visitors (and stallholders) also get the chance to go behind the scenes at the referral centre and see the animal wards and facilities and meet some of the vets and the huge number of staff which work there.

Over £2,000 was raised towards the Dick White Charitable Foundation which trains vets and helps to provide funding & services for the street dogs and cats in Cuba.

Brambleberry RGT did quite well on the day with over £70 raised which will go directly to Sharon and be used to help with day-to-day & medical expenses for the adoptable dogs currently living at the Brambleberry kennels.
